This agreement outlines a continuous commitment plan for Structured Literacy Coaching sessions with Ms. Joy. It is designed to establish a shared understanding and set clear expectations between the coach and the family, ensuring a supportive and productive learning experience for the student.
Prepaid Coaching Sessions All coaching sessions are prepaid monthly. Unused sessions or prepaid amounts are non-refundable, as coaching slots are reserved specifically for your child and cannot be reassigned.
If coaching services are discontinued without notice after tuition has been paid, no refund will be issued for unused sessions. Up to two sessions may be carried over to the next cycle (if agreed upon in writing). Any remaining unused sessions will be forfeited.
To discontinue your Reading Support Commitment Plan (RSCP), please provide at least one month’s notice prior to the plan’s expiration date. This allows for a smooth transition and respectful closure of services.
24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule a coaching session.
Sessions will be forfeited if there is a no-show (defined as arriving more than 10 minutes late) or if cancellation occurs within the 24-hour window.
If a session needs to be canceled by Ms. Joy, it will be rescheduled on a Friday within the current coaching cycle.
The RSCP is available as a Semester Plan (6 months) or School-Year Plan (10 months). Each plan reflects a consistent commitment to Structured Literacy Coaching and is designed to support meaningful, sustained progress.
No-shows (defined as arriving more than 10 minutes late) will result in forfeited sessions.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) are not eligible for makeup.
Missed time will not be extended; however, extra time may be added at Ms. Joy’s discretion when possible.
Makeup sessions may be granted for emergencies, depending on the plan type and availability.
Coaching schedules are adjusted for holidays and summer breaks.
Paused sessions are available for short-term interruptions (e.g., holidays, emergencies, unexpected life events).
Renewal extensions of up to three weeks may be granted to accommodate these pauses
While the agreed number of monthly coaching sessions is required, flexible modifications may be made to accommodate changing circumstances. In special cases, temporary session reductions can be arranged; however, unused reserved slots may impact future scheduling availability.
Time is a critical factor in delivering effective support. Due to limited availability, adherence to your scheduled monthly sessions ensures consistency and allows Ms. Joy to optimize coaching for all students.
Tuition Payments Invoices are sent via email before the 1st of each month, with tuition due on the 1st. Payments are accepted through PayPal and Zelle. Chronically late payments may result in the loss of reserved coaching slots.
Extended Parent Meetings Brief check-ins are always welcome. If a meeting exceeds 15 minutes, it may require scheduling and is subject to standard coaching fees.
Clear communication is essential to a successful coaching partnership. Ms. Joy primarily uses WhatsApp for quick updates and scheduling — please ensure notifications are enabled. For formal notices or detailed discussions, email is preferred.
Parents are encouraged to text or briefly call with any questions or concerns about their child’s reading progress or coaching experience.
If a phone call is needed and may exceed 10 minutes, we’ll schedule a suitable time. Assessment review meetings and 15-minute chats with Ms. Joy do not incur standard fees. However, a standard coaching fee applies to all other scheduled meetings up to 40 minutes.
Documentation and report reviews are considered on a case-by-case basis.
