Expectations for Success

To achieve the best outcomes for your child, we both need to commit. I’ll provide dedicated, individualized guidance and a supportive learning environment. In return, your consistent engagement and adherence to our agreed schedule will ensure steady progress and personalized support.

What You Can Expect From Me

Commitment to Individualized Learning

I am dedicated to supporting and guiding your child's literacy skills through high-impact, skill-based Zoom sessions. Recognizing each student’s unique abilities, I focus on their progress to ensure personalized learning.

High Expectations & Supportive Environment

I believe in each student's potential and encourage personal goal-setting, guiding them towards continuous self-improvement. Students can express their feelings without judgment, building resilience in a safe space.

Celebrating Growth & Succes

Success is about the journey. I celebrate growth and foster a sense of accomplishment. Achievable outcomes are carefully tailored to your child’s abilities, developmental stage, reading level, initial skill proficiency, and the timeframe available for skill attainment.

Continuous Support & Guidance

Depend on ongoing oversight and guidance as we navigate the learning journey together. I offer valuable assistance, professional guidance, and mentorship.

Expertise & Integrity

With an extensive background in Structured Literacy, I effectively support your child's learning journey. Our interactions are grounded in integrity, fostering a partnership based on trust and respect.

What I Can Expect From You

Commitment & Agreement

Ensure consistent weekly engagement to support your child’s language and literacy skills development. By agreeing and signing the terms and conditions, you contribute to the consistency and effectiveness of our tutoring sessions.

Confirmation and Adherence to RSCP

Confirm your Reading Support Commitment Plan (RSCP) duration, available for either 6 months or the school year (September-June). Your child is allocated a fixed time slot and a minimum number of sessions per month as per the RSCP. Please adhere to your RSCP and avoid unnecessary cancellations or rescheduling to ensure your child receives personalized reading support consistently.

Flexibility in Adjustments

While commitment is essential, I understand that life events may necessitate changes. Please consider modifying session dates rather than reducing your commitment to ensure consistent progress for your child.

Acknowledgment of RSCPs

Understand and acknowledge the instructional focus and objectives of our Reading Support. Prospective families must thoroughly review and acknowledge the terms and conditions outlined in the registration form. Full virtual reading therapy support requiring daily sessions is not currently offered.

Impact of Long-term Tutoring

Long-term, high-impact tutoring intervention produces significant learning gains in foundational reading skills. Monthly reading plans alone cannot definitively lead to mastery learning.

Impact of Long-Term Structured Literacy Coaching

Long-term structured literacy coaching provides the consistency, depth, and instructional insight needed to help children truly master foundational reading skills. Compared to short-term or occasional support, ongoing coaching builds momentum, strengthens decoding and fluency, and empowers students to become confident, independent readers.

While daily 1:1 reading therapy is not currently offered, families benefit most from regular, targeted sessions that honor each child’s learning profile and pace.

I provide Structured Literacy coaching grounded in the Orton-Gillingham approach,  focused on phonological awareness, spelling, decoding, and fluency.

Instruction is tailored to each student’s needs and delivered in a way that encourages confidence, independence, and steady growth.

Sessions are designed to be practical, sustainable, and focused on long-term reading success.

Assessment and Instructional Scope

I do not offer formal diagnoses of dyslexia or other learning differences. Any screening tools used are provided solely for instructional planning purposes. These tools may help identify possible risk indicators, but they should not be used as a substitute for a comprehensive psychoeducational or neuropsychological evaluation.

Service Disclaimer

These services are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace medical, psychological, or counseling services. All services are educational in nature and are designed to empower families through informed, compassionate, and evidence-based literacy instruction.
